Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Lauren completed her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counselling at Niagara University. During her studies, she completed her internship placement at Pathstone Mental Health, where she facilitated individual and group therapy for children and adolescents suffering from
anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. Her clientele at Pathstone Mental Health ranged from 7 - 18 years of age. Additionally, she completed an internship at Brookside Psychologists, where she treated adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, complex mental health concerns, and addiction.
Lauren is currently practicing as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) under the supervision of Stephanie Simpson, M.A., Registered Psychotherapist. She provides psychotherapy services to adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety and depression. Her primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in addition to Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills training.
Lauren is a registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a good-standing member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
