Julianne Sheppit

SSW, Masters of Psychotherapy Student

Julianne Sheppit is a Social Worker, having completed her initial education at Niagara College. Julianne has accumulated over 5 years of valuable experience working in positions that provide mental health services to community members across the Niagara Region. She is currently working towards the completion of her Masters of Health Sciences in Psychotherapy at McMaster University. 

 

She has completed prior psychotherapy practicums at the Anxiety Treatment & Research Centre at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton, as well as at the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program. Julianne is currently completing her senior practicum at CBT Niagara under the supervision of Lori Hoar, MSc. Registered Psychotherapist. 

 

Julianne provides individual psychotherapeutic services

to both adolescents and adults with a primary focus on anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, and interpersonal difficulties. Julianne helps her clients navigate along their personal life journeys and helps them to achieve their goals through a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach that is carefully tailored to suit each individual’s unique needs.
