Aleena Wilton

MSW, RSW

Aleena is a Registered Social Worker, with a Master's Degree in Social Work. She received training at Pathstone Mental Health, gaining experience in individual and group interventions with children, adolescents, and their parents.

 

Aleena also brings to her clinical work nearly 10 years of experience working in the field of human services in Niagara, including experience in the areas of housing and homelessness as well as intimate partner violence. In clinical practice, Aleena primarily utilizes a cognitive behavioural therapy approach, while integrating trauma-informed, solution-focused and strength-based perspectives, to support clients in achieving their goals.

 

Aleena provides treatment to adults and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, stress, grief/loss, and obsessions and compulsions. Aleena is also currently completing a certificate in Trauma-Informed Care and Counselling from the State University of New York at Buffalo and is a registered member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, as well as the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
